Scale LC2: (Up to SCP 30) £38,223 depending on experience
Are you ready to join us? West Swindon Parish Council is a large urban Parish Council which prides itself on providing excellent services to around 28,000 residents, including grass cutting, shrub cutting, 21 play areas and a skatepark/pump track. The annual income for the Parish Council is c. £1 million.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and independent thinking professional who can bring their ideas, skills and experience to support and grow the Parish Council’s services in the changing and challenging times ahead. The Council has many exciting opportunities for you to work on your own initiative to create a role that you can enjoy with a fulfilling and varied workload.

You will be an excellent communicator and will enjoy working closely with Councillors to bring their ideas and policies to fruition. Inside the business you will be able to support the functions of the Council with accuracy and efficiency.
You will be based at the Parish Council’s office. The Parish office is open from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00 am to 12.30 pm on Fridays. Hours are negotiable and there is flexible working to accommodate attendance at evening meetings.
If you have a CILCA qualification excellent otherwise we will fund this and support you to complete it.
