WALC and NALC provide a number of publications for local councils and many may be accessed freely on the NALC website at www.nalc.gov.uk

Many booklets, including the family of The Good Councillor’s Guide are available in an electronic format from the NALC website (members’ area).

WALC recommend all Councillors are familiar with The Good Councillor’s Guide, The Good Councillor’s Guide to Employment and The Good Councillor’s Guide to Finance and Transparency.

Guidance sheets, templates, model documents and legal topic notes are also available to download from the members’ area of the NALC website (contact WALC for log-in details).
