Melksham Town Council is looking to hire a short-term Committee Clerk to assist the council during the implementation of its staffing restructure. Working full time you would be responsible for the preparation of all agendas, using the Modern.Gov Committee system, attendance at evening council and committee meetings and responsibility for drafting the minutes and action sheets. It is a small but friendly team and the position could lead to a permanent position for the right candidate.   The council is flexible to your working arrangements so if it was preferred you could work from home.
